About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in underwriting and work alongside seasoned professionals. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with underwriting base accounts under the guidance of Senior Underwriters.
• Analyze risk factors across various lines of business.
• Support underwriting decisions through research and data analysis.
• Ensure policy documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve underwriting processes.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of other data management tools is a plus.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Compensation:

• Expected Pay: $20–25 USD per hour
